Summary: The staff were friendly and the breakfast was simple (green salad, two egg fries, bread with butter and jam, fruits, and a pot of coffee or black tea) but delicious. Personally I liked Peppermint’s breakfast better than buffet breakfast, because we ate everything that’s served. No waste, so eco-friendly.
Another thing we liked was a nearby museum. The pension is only 5 minute walk from a nice local art museum. We visited it after check-out in the morning. We enjoyed the collection inside the building and the sculptures outside in the garden.
The pension does not have a bathroom in each room, so sharing bathroom is a minus. But we went to a nearby hot spring Momi-no-yu and enjoyed the outdoor hot spring.
