Summary: This was a perfect experience. It is so peaceful and beautiful on Kenji’s farm. The room was so warm and cozy, the property was very clean and well kept, and it was a PRIVILEGE to stay. Kenji was a great host, picking you up and dropping you off, answering questions and showing you the ropes of the house. You have to bring your own dinner because it’s a 45 minute drive up the mountains of miyajima but we cooked some ramen and fried up potatoes and onions from Kenjis farm! He has a small Japanese bath on site overlooking the farm which was delightful and perfect for an early morning hot bath. Remember - if you don’t have towels you will pay 300 yen to borrow very small but very absorbent towels. PLEASE come here!!! It was the highlight of our trip, truly an oasis and it gives you plenty of time to explore miyajima! Okay we’ll stop gushing now - just go!
