Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: Convenient location if driving outside the Nagoya city center. Rooms are small but typical of most Japanese hotels. Having access to the public onsen is a nice plus and breakfast was free. Service/Staff was friendly, though English is very minimal.

Negative: Breakfast for 1 or 2 days is quite good due to lots of choices, but as we stayed for 7 days, it was the exact same food every day which got quite boring. Still, it was free so cannot complain too much but some variety/changes to certain dishes every 1-2 days would have been preferred. The other thing we found strange was 5-6yr old boys being brought into the female onsens. While clearly this is acceptable in Japanese culture. my wife just felt it was strange. Lastly, the temperature setting was very inconsistent. 22C heat was very hot but was the lowest temperature we could set. Also, there was a continuous water dripping sound in our bathroom.
