It is a typical construction house of the island renovated in 2012. It has 4 bedrooms, one of them independent, with double bed and its own bathroom -suite outside- another one with double bed and its bathroom -suite inside- and two more rooms with single beds plus another bathroom (you can rent the house with only 3 bedrooms, which allows to stay up to 6 people, being in this case the somewhat lower price)
The exterior of the house is white (traditional island) which allows to keep the interior cool in times of more heat. The blinds are a blue color that recalls the color of the sea that surrounds the island.
The interior of the house is dressed in light furniture and an original decoration with elements that show the nature and culture of the island.
The courtyard is nice, gives a lot of calm as it is protected from the wind, the sun touches the day and at night is very cool. It is the perfect place for a lunch or dinner. There is also a perfect hammock area to relax.
Porto Salè, where the house is, is a very quiet rural area where you can appreciate the traditional architecture and nature of the island with its pine and juniper forests.
It is only 2 km away. from the village of Sant Francesc Xavier, the capital of the island. The port of La Savina is also a few minutes. In both towns there are several supermarkets, shops, restaurants, markets and lots of atmosphere during the day.
It is also close to s'Estany d'es Peix, ideal for bathing, Illetes beach, Cala Saona, etc.
The best way to get around is by renting a comfortable small vehicle like a motorcycle or a car. But by distance and surface it is ideal to do it by bicycle or even on foot.
