Summary: The hotel itself is very unique, I can see the owner put a lot of thoughts into it to make it attractive to kids and adults with a lot of small activities you can do inside the hotel. The best part is that all of them are free as well as the drink. Room is clean as a standard Japanese hotel would be. Lots of convenient amenities too. However, I do need to point out that the rooms are noisy. The busy street is one reason, another reason is that there is a fridge right next to the pillow! When the fridge starts to work, it is noisy especially deep in the night. Many people would need to use earplugs (they are provided for free too).
